Artist, poetess, singer-songwriter, dancer and creative facilitator, 
Dominika Belanská reconnects people with themselves, their community and the place they inhabit. Using multiple art forms, from action painting to ceremony, she calls all to join the loop of co-creation.

Umelkyňa, poetka, speváčka, skladateľka, tanečnica a facilitátorka - Dominika Belanská rôznymi umeleckými formami vyjadruje svoju vďačnosť za skúsenosť života. Prepája ľudí a miesta, kde žijú - a všetkých zvoláva do kruhu spoločného tvorenia. 

Dominika grew up and lives in Prievidza, Slovakia, but spent much of her life in other places, like Bratislava, where she studied architecture at AFAD and then collaborated on various initiatives to make the city more livable. Respect towards the place, its community and environment was what she pursued, mediating the needs of local citizens to co-create resilient neighborhoods, leading public debates and organizing cultural events, in Slovakia as well as abroad.

In 2020 she came back to her home region, deeply affected by the coal mining industry, where she collaborates on regeneration efforts. She sees her return home as an opportunity to transform herself, and chooses to perceive the world as full of possibility - to play, to create and live with ease. She brings this enthusiasm into all her art and service.

Dominika pochádza z Prievidze, ale kus života strávila aj v Bratislave, kde vyštudovala architektúru na VŠVU a potom spolupracovala na rôznych iniciatívach v oblasti komunitného rozvoja, verejného priestoru a životného prostredia - u nás aj v zahraničí. 

Počas pandémie sa vrátila na hornú Nitru, kde vyrástla, do regiónu, ktorý výrazne poznačila banská činnosť. Teraz spolupracuje na jeho obnove. Svoj návrat vníma ako príležitosť pre vlastnú premenu. Svet vníma ako miesto, kde "sa dá" - tvoriť, hrať a žiť s radosťou. Svoj entuziazmus prináša do svojej umeleckej tvorby aj práce s ľuďmi.
